Prior to attending law school, Monica Tirado-Ratcliffe worked as an HR Consultant in Puerto Rico, where she prepared affirmative action plans and assisted clients before the Office of Federal Contract Compliance of the United States Department of Labor.
While attending law school, Monica worked as a paralegal and law clerk, in the labor and employment department of a law firm in Puerto Rico. She has experience in the areas of insurance coverage and labor and employment. Throughout law school, Monica received multiple scholastic awards, including Dean's List, National Dean's List and "Who's Who Among American Students in Universities and Colleges." Additionally, while in undergraduate school, Monica served as the President of the National Business Honor Society.
Monica was born in Santurce, Puerto Rico. After she obtained her J.D., Monica moved with her husband, Rolando, to Miami, Florida. Monica and Rolando have four children. Monica enjoys spending quality time with her family by attending her children's dance and sporting events. She is actively involved in their parish community as well as in her children's school.
